This policy explains how we handle personal data when you browse our site, submit an inquiry, subscribe to updates, or interact with a listing we help market, including data collected through cookies and through the affiliate and advertising networks we work with to reach new audiences.
By using gorares.com, you agree to the practices described below. If anything here is unclear, reach out, we read every message ourselves.
Scope & who we are
This policy covers gorares.com, our subdomains, our subscribe and inquiry forms, and any GoRA RES listing pages hosted on partner platforms. For the purposes of Philippine and international data protection law, GoRA RES acts as the data controller for information collected directly through our site, meaning we decide why and how that data is used.
Where we work with third-party advertising or affiliate networks to promote listings, both GoRA RES and that partner may independently act as controllers over the data each of us collects, as described in Section 5.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you, manage a listing, or understand how our site is used:
Information you give us directly
- Name, email address, and phone number submitted through our inquiry, subscribe, or "Recommend a Property" forms
- Details about the property you're inquiring about, buying, selling, or listing
- Messages you send us through email, Messenger, or our contact forms
Information collected automatically
- Browser and device information: browser type and version, device type, and general technical identifiers
- IP address, referring page, and the pages you visit on our site
- Timestamps of visits, clicks, and interactions with listings or ads
- Cookie identifiers used to recognize repeat visits and measure how our site is used
We do not knowingly collect any sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, religion, or biometric information) and we ask that you don't include these in messages to us.
Cookies & tracking technologies
Cookies, pixels, and similar tools let us recognize your browser, keep forms working smoothly, and measure whether our marketing is actually reaching the right people. Some of these tools are placed by GoRA RES directly; others are placed by advertising and affiliate partners we work with to promote listings across the web.

How we use your data
- Responding to you - answering inquiries, scheduling viewings or calls, and processing listing or service requests
- Running our services - matching leads to the right property, tracking referral commissions where relevant, and keeping our listings accurate
- Measurement & improvement - understanding which pages, listings, and campaigns are useful, and improving our site and offerings over time
- Security & fraud prevention - detecting suspicious activity and keeping our systems and forms working properly
- Marketing communications - sending updates, newsletters, or new listing alerts, only where you've subscribed or otherwise agreed to receive them, and always with an unsubscribe option
Affiliate & advertising partners
To reach buyers, investors, and guests beyond our own audience, GoRA RES may work with affiliate marketing networks and advertising partners. These partners can place their own tracking technologies on our pages to measure referrals and attribute inquiries or bookings back to the right marketing channel.
Where this happens:
- We disclose the use of these tracking technologies and, where required, obtain your consent before they are activated
- Partners are only permitted to use the data collected for measuring performance, preventing fraud, and improving the services provided to us, not to build unrelated profiles about you
- We do not knowingly share information about anyone under the age of 16 with these partners
- Any cross-border transfer of data to a partner is carried out under recognized safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where required by applicable data protection law
When we share data
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only in these situations:
- With property owners or advertisers, where sharing your inquiry is necessary to arrange a viewing, sale, or booking
- With service providers who help us run our site, forms, email, and booking tools, under confidentiality obligations
- With affiliate and advertising networks, as described in Section 5
- Where required to comply with a valid legal request, protect our rights, or investigate fraud or abuse
- As part of a business transition, such as a merger or transfer of GoRA RES's assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data
International transfers
GoRA RES is based in the Philippines, but some of our tools and partners operate internationally, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Economic Area. When personal data moves across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected, including relying on partners who use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards recognized under GDPR and UK GDPR where those laws apply to the data in question.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you're located, including under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, the EU/UK GDPR, or similar laws, you generally have the right to:

Keeping data secure
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, appropriate to the sensitivity of the data and the current state of available safeguards, to protect your information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, so we also encourage you to use strong passwords and avoid sending sensitive information through unsecured channels.
Retention & children's privacy
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, for example, tax and accounting records related to a transaction.
GoRA RES's services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Government & legal requests
If a government authority requests access to personal data we hold, we only disclose what we are legally required to provide, under a valid subpoena, warrant, or equivalent legally binding order, never in a broad or indiscriminate manner beyond what's necessary.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our services or legal obligations change. We'll post the revised version here with a new effective date, and where changes are significant, we'll make that clear on our site. Continuing to use gorares.com after an update means you accept the revised policy.
